Donor Relations Coordinator (Raiser's Edge Specialist)

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am Ė 5:00 pm (flexible)


Reporting to the Director of Development Systems, the Donor Relations Coordinator I is responsible for the processing and acknowledgement of select gifts and pledges. In addition, the Donor Relations Coordinator I will communicate on a regular basis with the Finance Department, ensuring accurate transmittal of gifts. The Donor Relations Coordinator I is a vital member of Pine Street Innís fundraising team, often the only point of contact a donor may have with Pine Street, and thus diligence and professionalism are of utmost importance.


    • High School Diploma
    • Two (2) or more years working in a development office
    • Database and data entry experience using Raiser's Edge
    • 2-3 years of administrative experience or equivalent
    • Strong computer skills, including advanced features of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Experience with Luminate or other fundraising automation, research, and data management tools
    • Exceptional data entry speed and accuracy
    • Highly detail-oriented, with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
    • Ability to identify and seek support for issues or projects outside the usual scope of duties, and ability to seek help around projects or tasks where further instruction is needed
    • Strong commitment to maintaining and securing confidential data
    • Comfortable with making decisions and judgments involving the proper entry, allocation and documentation of gifts and accurately match pledge payments to the correct pledges
    • Ability to take responsibility, to work well as a team member and to work independently without supervision within the scope of normal duties and responsibilities.
    • Excellent phone and email customer service skills, upholding written and verbal communications at the highest professional standard
    • Strong and timely ability to follow up on outstanding communications
