SCHEDULE HOURS:  40 hours, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Finance Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing numerous administrative and clerical responsibilities within the Finance Department. The Finance Administrative Assistant is organized, a fast learner, motivated to improve how their responsibilities are performed, reliable, a good communicator and has a great attitude. Responsibilities include office administration, calendar organization, report/presentation drafting and proofing, attending meetings and taking notes, and facilitating intra and interdepartmental communication. Responsibilities also include performing basic accounting responsibilities general daily support for the Finance department team.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant administrative field

  • Formal training in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word and Excel

  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in an executive or finance office

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Treat persons on phone and in person courteously and professionally

  • Develop and manage calendars and work plans for projects

  • Demonstrated success working in a goals-oriented, team environment

  • Heavy use of computer

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

  • Ability to sustain energy in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to go to different building locations and program sites, as needed

  • Ability to respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations

  • Demonstrated professional demeanor
